As pumpkin would sign…all done. After 19.5 months of exclusively pumping…we are done. I have a surgery on my hand which is going to make it near impossible to pump, so I figure it’s a good time to be finished. I’ve blogged about my breastfeeding difficulties. I used a hospital pump rental to help increase my supply. At one point I was pumping 8-10 times
When pumpkin didn’t latch we initially turned to formula. Well to be honest, the hospital forced me to put her on formula. Which led to further difficulties in getting her to latch. But I was determined to give her breastmilk, so I started to pump. Early on I pumped 8-10 times a day. On the floor of my bedroom, holding my pumps while watching Netflix.
